Another year, another cool nights and another chance to take the best stand trophy back to the North. We had decided early on that we were going to use the same principal idea as last year but try and change it up a bit so cue more long days and late nights preparing the vinyl for this year. Major tragedy being that Jeffs vinyl cutter packed in early on so we had to cut all the vinyl by hand!!
When we finally arrived at the show, you could tell there was a different atmosphere. One notable missing face was Peter from Manic Motorz who sadly passed away the week before the show. His absence was clear, as he was considered to be "Mr Cool Nights" by many in the crowd, first person you saw and always first on the scene to congratulate winners.
We once again walked away with the trophy, which was rightfully dedicated to all at Manic Motorz. Now all we have to do is win it next year and we've completed the hat trick.
